A few notes about the league:
  • All players participating need to have current (2010) WSYSA Player Cards to be eligable to participate (for insurance reasons).
  • Please fill out and provide a team roster sheet for each game
  • Each team will play 2 mini-games each Saturday that will consist of 2 20 minute halves with a two minute half-time since all matches are scheduled back to back.
  • Besides the shortened game length, normal WSYSA Rules apply and every game should have a full ref crew.
  • Since there is a mix of U12 and U13 teams, a size 4 will be used one half and size 5 in the other (home team decides).
  • The purpose of this league is to keep everyone playing prior to tryouts, so let's make sure to keep it fun
  • We will be playing on the following dates:
    • March 5 @ Wilson 1 (Upper)
    • March 12 @ Wilson 1 (Upper)
    • March 19 @ French
    • March 26 @ Wilson 2 (Lower)
    • April 2 @ Wilson 2 (Lower)
A few notes about games:
  • There is space for teams to warm-up off to the side of Wilson 2 (lower)
  • French does not have the same space to warm-up, but as long as balls are flying on the field and players are being quiet and respectful of current matches, light warm-ups on the track should be fine.
  • Time between matches will be tight (a few minutes), so please exit the field quickly so the next teams can get underway
*There is plenty of space at Wilson for teams to talk between and after matches (stands), dugouts, or lower space to the side of Wilson 2.
*French has stands for teams to talk and stay dry between matches
